EPAL Euro pallets shall have a nominal load of at least 1,500 kg (with the load evenly distributed over the surface of the pallet) and a super imposed load of at least 2,000 kg (when the load is distributed evenly in a compact format across the entire surface of the pallet).
When stacking pallets, the additional super imposed load of the bottom most EPAL Euro pallet is 4,000 kg if the pallets are located on a horizontal, flat, rigid surface and the super imposed load is placed horizontally across the full surface.
